Colourful handicrafts made by the inmates of Tihar jail are a part of attractions at the trade fair this year. The items at the stall are offered by Armaan, an NGO working with Tihar jail inmates and released prisoners. The exhibition displays the products made at Armaan workshops in jails.<br/>Talking to AIR correspondent, General secretary of Armaan- Neeru Arya said that they face lack of funds and the raw material is often donated by well-wishers. She expressed concern over low sale this year and said that businesspersons till now have only sent their appreciation. She hopes that sales will pick up once the fair opens to general visitors.<br/>Arya further added that the aim of such stalls is to promote the vocational training and art of inmates. Handmade variety of jute bags, woollen clothes, silk kurtas and glass jewellery are available at the exhibit.<br/><br/>
