In Nepal, nearly two dozen Tibetan exiles detained in Kathmandu during their recent protest rallies against the Chinese rule in Tibet have launched hunger strike from today, demanding their immediate release.<br/><br/>According to Nepal Police Spokesperson Bigyan Raj Sharma, 23 Tibetans who have gone on hunger strike were arrested on 10th and 14th of this month for defying government's ban on anti-China protests in restricted areas including the Chinese Embassy's visa office at Kathmandu.<br/><br/>Tibetans in Nepal have been protesting against Chinese rule in Tibet since last few years, even as successive governments in Nepal have reiterated the one-China policy, vowing not to allow anti-China protests by Tibetan exiles living in Nepal.
