In Thailand, three factory workers were killed in a fire which broke out early this morning at a footwear plant near the capital Bangkok. Ten firetrucks rushed to a three-storey plant in Samrong district of Samut Prakarn province and spent three hours to extinguish the blaze. However, ten workers trapped in the building were safely rescued. Police said electrical short might have caused the deadly fire. Initial assessment of the damage cost was 1 lakh 67 thousand U.S. dollars.
