<span style="color: #222222;">Three villages in Nandurbar have achieved the target of 100 percent immunization for people above 45 years of age. Overcoming the misconceptions and rumors about vaccination in the tribal-dominated Nandurbar district, Purushottam Nagar in Shahada taluka has become the first Gram Panchayat in the district to conduct 100% vaccination at the age of 45 years.<br />''<br />''The Purushottam Nagar Gram Panchayat had registered 365 citizens above the age of 45 for vaccination. Achieving this objective, the Gram Panchayat has also completed the registration of 288 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 45 years in the village. On the other hand, both Sindgavan in Nandurbar Taluka and Sagli in Navapur taluka have also achieved 100 per cent target for immunization of citizens above 45 years of age. In Sindgavhan village, 431 people over the age of 45 were registered. And today all the registered citizens are also being vaccinated. The villagers used various tactics like Corner Sabha, Gram Sabha, Davandi for public awareness. The village head and the health officer of the primary health center also addressed various  doubts and queries regarding the vaccination because of which citizens felt free to go forward with the vaccination. Most importantly, there is not a single active corona patient in these three gram panchayats today and the villagers say it has been possible due to the 100 percent vaccination program.
