<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu  and Kashmir, three terrorists were killed in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and security forces at Khul Chohar area in Anantnag district in the early hours today.<br />'' <br />'' According to police sources, Anantnag Police, 19 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF laid a joint Cardon and Search Operation in the area based on an intelligence input about the presence of terrorists in the area.<br />'' <br />'' As the joint team approached the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the security forces which was  retaliated by them that resulted in the elimination of three terrorists.<br />'' <br />'' One AK 47 Rifle and Two pistols have been recovered from their possession.<br />'' <br />'' A senior policer officer said that among the three terrorists, two terrorists belonged to Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist outfit including one district commander and one Hizb-ul-Mujahideen Commander Masood from Doda district in Jammu province.<br />'' <br />'' He further said that Doda has now become totally terrorist-free once again, as Masood was the last surviving terrorist in the district.<br />''<br />''Masood was involved in a rape case in Doda and was absconding eversince. He later had joined HIzbul Mujahideen and shifted his area of operations to Kashmir Valley.</span>
