Three suspected Pak nationals arrested in Bangladesh

The Detective Branch of Bangladesh police have arrested three suspected Pakistan nationals who are alleged to be linked to militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to officials Mohammad Selim who is a top leader of the group and two of his associates Abdul Malek and Imran carrying Pakistan passports were nabbed during a raid in the Hotel Imperial on Saturday. Khurram was allegedly serving as the coordinator of banned militant organization and had visited Bangladesh several times in the past few months. Earlier, last week the Rapid Action Battalion had arrested 43 year old Mohammad Imran from Madaninagar area of Narayanganj in the city for allegedly being involved in recruiting people for the Lashkar-e-Taiba. Apart from Imran’s arrest on Wednesday last week, the RAB teams had also arrested earlier this year some Pakistani citizens in Bangladesh who were alleged to be members of the Lashkar-e toiba and were engaged in recruiting people for the militant outfit.
