Three jawans were killed on Friday, in a landmine blast by the naxalites in the Bastar area of Chhattisgarh. While two of them died on the spot, another jawan succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.AIR correspondent reports, one injured jawan is being shifted from Jagdalpur to capital Raipur for treatment. The blast took place near Banjarighat on the National Highway 63 between Gidam and Jagdalpur in the Dantewada district.Reports say that the jawans of the Sashastra Sima Bal, SSB, were travelling in a mini-truck when the naxalites triggered the landmine. Police have cordoned off the area and combing operation is on.
