Three powerful earthquakes have struck Indonesia within half an hour of each other. The two strongest occurred in quick successions near the coast of Indonesia's Papua province, causing people to flee their homes.A tsunami warning was issued but it has since been lifted. Another earthquake, of lesser magnitude, struck close to the Solomon Islands. There were no immediate reports of casualties.There were no reports of major damage in the sparsely populated area from the quake.Indonesia's Geophysics and Meteorological Agency issued a local tsunami warning but the Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said no Pacific-wide wave was expected.
