In Punjab, three notoriuos smugglers were arrested today by the special operation cell with 9 pistols and 2 kilogram of heroine . The consignment was smuggled from Pakistan. Addressing a press conferrence AIG of counter inteligence Manminder Singh said, they were arrested from local Majitha road where they had gathered to collect the consignment from the Pak smuggler. A case under NDPS act, Arm act and Indian passport act has been registered. The both Indian smugglers are from Amritsar district and involved in smuggling for long time. According to AIG the arrest of Pak smuggler is being seen as major jolt to the nefarios design of Pak agencies who have been operating the couriers across Indo Pak border.
