Three NDRF teams have been deployed in the wake of Red alert issued by Met officials in Telangana. The Met officials issued red alert of heavy to very heavy rain likely for next 2 days in Adilabad, Asifabad and Manchiryal districts and orange alerts for mainly central and Northern districts of the state. Telangana State Disaster Management Commissioner, Rahul Bojja informed our Correspondent that about Five hundred people from Low lying areas in Nirmal district have been evacuated for safe locations. He further said three Helicopters have been sought from the Indian Air Force to keep them as stand-by. He also said the local authorities and disaster management forces have rescued about 20 people, who were trapped in flood water in different parts of the state.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Vekatapur in Mulugu district received the highest rainfall of 5.6 cms since this morning.<br />
