The Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till tomorrow following protest by the opposition and treasury bench. Opposition members were protesting on the issue of price rise and Gujarat hooch tragedy, while treasury bench members raised slogans against the Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary's objectionable remarks against President Droupadi Murmu.<br />'' &nbsp; <br />''When the House reassembled after the fourth adjournment at 4 PM, the scene was not different. Opposition members including Congress, AAP and others trooped into the well raising slogans against the government. Three suspended MPs were also in the well. Members of the treasury bench were also on their feet demanding an apology from Congress President Sonia Gandhi over remarks against the President. Amid uproar, the Presiding Officer urged the suspended members to leave the House. He also asked other agitating members to go back to their seats but they continued sloganeering leading to adjournment of the House till tomorrow.<br />'' &nbsp; <br />''Earlier, the House witnessed four adjournments. At 12 Noon when the House reassembled after the first adjournment, three Rajya Sabha MPs have been suspended from the House. Opposition members including Congress, AAP and others were in the well raising slogans against the government over the issues of price rise and Gujarat hooch tragedy. Leader of the House, Piyush Goyal raised the issue of objectionable remarks by the Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary against the President Droupadi Murmu. He condemned the remarks saying that it is against the tribal community and women of the country. Treasury bench members also raised slogans against Congress. As pandemonium continued, the House was adjourned till 2 PM.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' In the morning, when the House met for the day, opposition members including Congress, AAP and others trooped into the well raising slogans against the government. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman raised the issue of objectionable remarks made by Congress leader against the President. She said, Mr. Chowdhary's remark has insulted the President who is from a tribal community. The Minister demanded Congress President Sonia Gandhi's apology over the issue. <br />''<br />''Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu said, nobody is supposed to make derogatory comment against the President. Amid pandemonium, he repeatedly urged the opposition members to go back to their seats but they did not pay heed. Later, the Chairman adjourned the House till 12 Noon.<br />
