<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, total 33 cases of COVID-19 have been reported so far. Our correspondent reports that three new cases were found positive today. Following the rise in the cases, lockdown was announced in the entire state from last midnight. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Two fresh cases were found positive for COVID-19 in Gandhinagar while one in Surat today. Briefing the media in Gandhinagar today,  Principal Secretary of Department of Health and Family Welfare Jayanti Ravi said, two cases reported in Gandhinagar are of local transmission while the one reported in Surat had a foreign travel history. She said, all the three infected persons were above 50 years old. Ms Ravi added that around 11,000 persons have been quarantined in the state so far. Besides tracking foreign travellers, the government has so far surveyed around 10 lakh people including those who have acute respiratory diseases. She said, a high-level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani which will review the Corona situation in the state on daily basis. Earlier, the government announced lockdown in the entire state from last midnight following the rise in the number of the COVID-19 cases . </span><br />
