In Jammu & Kashmir, Army foiled a major infiltration bid and killed three militants in Nowgam sector in Kupwara district. Defence sources said army's 35 Rashtriya Rifles manning the Line of Control intercepted a group of five to six militants yesterday morning near Jati area in Toot Mari Gali in Handwara area. A gunfight broke out after security forces challenged the militants.
