The three-member team of Interlocutors for Jammu and Kashmir will begin their visit to the State tomorrow for talks with all shades of opinion with the focus on seeking a political outcome of the Kashmir issue. The Group comprising Dileep Padgaonkar, M. M. Ansari and Radha Kumar have been given a wide mandate to hold talks with, all sections of people, political parties, students, teachers, young people as well as Hurriyat and other elements. Mr. Padgaonkar has already said that they are going with an open mind, without any pre- determined strategy and without imposing any conditions for the talks. Ahead of the meeting the group had a meeting with the Prime Minister and the Home Minister as well as other leaders on the issue. A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits met Dileep Padgaonkar on Friday evening to apprise him about the aspirations of displaced Kashmiri Pandits. The members of Panun Kashmir, a group fighting for the cause of the displaced Pandits said, there concerns should not be ignored while discussing solutions to the vexed issue.
