Three-member team begins probe into land grabbing charges against Dinakaran

In Tamil Nadu, a three-member team, assigned the task of mapping the land allegedly grabbed by Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court P.D. Dinakaran, began its inquiry by meeting the Tiruvallur district administration and the judge’s representatives. Major General R. Sivakumar, who is heading the team, told reporters that through mapping, the team will reflect what is on the ground which will help authorities take a decision. The other members of the team include Sanjay Kumar, Director, Geospatial Data Centre, Survey of India, Lucknow, and Additional Surveyor General of India Dharmaraj.<br/><br/>Earlier, the Joint Commissioner (Land Reforms), Villupuram district, A. Balasubramani, also met the team and submitted a report on the land possessed by Justice Dinakaran and his family members.<br/>
