Three-member Central team takes stock of COVID situation in West Bengal

<span style="color: #222222;">In West Bengal, three-member Central team took stock of the COVID situation at a high level meeting in the State Secretariat today.<br />'' <br />'' The team led by the Joint Secretary Piyush Goyel met the Chief Secretary Rajib Sinha and other senior officers and discussed the issue.<br />'' <br />'' The Centre has deputed the three-member team in those areas where rate of affected people are high.<br />'' <br />'' The team will help the State Administration by providing technical support for containment and facilitate management of COVID-19 outbreak .<br />'' <br />'' The team visited a quarantine centre near Kolkata today to have a first hand experience on the situation .<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, another 372 persons were tested positive of Carona infections in last 24 hours in the state. With this, 8,985 people have been affected by the disease so far.<br />'' <br />'' According to the State Health Department sources, 10 persons died of the infection taking the total number of death toll to 415.<br />'' <br />'' In all, 155 persons were released from hospitals in last 24 hours. With this, 3,620 patients were discharged after recovery from hospitals.<br />'' <br />''<br />''The rate of recovery stands at over 40 per cent as of now. At present, 4,950 patients are under treatment at different hospitals.</span>
