Three Maoists, two ultras surrender in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand, three Maoists and two ultras of the People’s Liberation Front of India have surrendered before the police. They laid down their arms on Saturday at Khunti before the Superintendent of Police M Tamilvanan. Those surrendered include the Front's Area Commander Sundar Pahan alias Nageshwar.They deposited four country-made guns, one 9 mm pistol and five bombs weighing 20 kilogramme. They will get benefits as per the surrender policy. This is the first surrender of ultras in the state this year.
