In Chhattisgarh, three Maoists were killed in a gun-battle with security forces in the tribal Bastar division today. Akashvani correspondent reports that the joint team of security forces was on a search operation in the jungles of Basaguda area of  Bijapur district. An encounter took place near Nedra village. Three Maoists kiiled in this encounter confirmed the Superintendent of Police of Bijapur district Anjaney Vaishnavarya.<br />
