In Jharkhand, three hardcore Maoists removed a rod from their cell window and escaped early today from a high-security jail in West Singhbhum district. According to Superintendent of Police A K Singh, the Maoists escaped in connivance with the jail staff. He said, adjoining police stations have been alerted and the district border sealed.
