In Nepal, three major political parties – the Unified CPN (Maoist), the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) have agreed to introduce a full budget in Parliament by amending the interim Constitution. The agreement was reached at a meeting of senior leaders of the three parties in Kathmandu on Tuesday. AIR Kathmandu correspondent reports that the agreement has finally brought to an end the four-month long uncertainty on the passage of the budget amidst opposition by the Unified CPN(Maoists).
