In Manipur, a combined team of Manipur Police and Assam Rifles arrested three active cadres of Kuki National Front-Nehlun Group (KNF-N) who were involved in the mass firing incident which claimed three innocent lives. On the 12th of this month, armed cadres suspected to be KNF-N opened fire at the house of Village Chief of B Gamnom Village, Kangpokpi district of Manipur killing three civilians including one minor.
