In Manipur, a combined team of Manipur Police and Assam Rifles arrested three active cadres of Kuki National Front-Nehlun Group (KNF-N) who were involved in the mass firing incident which claimed three innocent lives. On the 12th of this month, armed cadres suspected to be KNF-N opened fire at the house of Village Chief of B Gamnom Village, Kangpokpi district of Manipur killing three civilians including one minor. After the incident, the State Police has been conducting search operations in different parts of the State to nab the culprits.<br />''<br />''Speaking at a press conference held today at Imphal, the Superintendent of Police Imphal West Dr. S Ibomcha Said, the three arrested cadres of KNF-N admitted that they were involved in the firing incident at B.
