In West Bengal, three persons were killed in a series of clashes between ruling CPI(M) and Opposition Trinamool Congress supporters under Nanoor Police Station in Birbhum district last night. <br/> <br/>Quoting official sources, our Kolkata correspondent reports that the incident occurred over-capturing of areas before ensuing municipal election in the region. Both the warring groups in this indiscriminately used bombs and fire arms during the clashes. <br/> <br/>At least 50 houses in two villages under the Nanoor police station were set on fire. Later, the gases spread in some nearby villages also. Police opened fire in the air to disperse the agitated mob. Tension prevails in the area though situation is under control now. Strong police contingent have been deployed in the area. <br/> <br/><br/>
