In Chhattisgarh, three persons were killed in a Maoist attack today morning. The attack took place in Kanker district in Bastar division. Maoists blew up a Diesel Tanker near Tumapal village in Tadoki area using an Improvised Explosive Device.<br />''<br />''After the blast Maoists opened indiscriminate fire on the tanker. In the blast, followed up by firing, three workers died. The tanker and the workers of a private company were engaged in the construction of Railway track under Rawghat Railway line project.<br />''<br />''Security forces rushed to the spot and there was an exchange of fire between security personnel and Maoists. After a brief gun battle, Maoists fled to the nearby jungle.
