At least three passengers were killed and more than 100 injured when Kalka-bound Howrah Kalka Express derailed near Malwan Railway Station in Fatehpur District of Uttar Pradesh. Quoting sources our Lucknow Correspondent reports, the engine, the pantry van and 10 boggies derailed at 12.15 p.m. Senior railway and civil officials have reached the spot to monitor rescue and relief operation. Injured have been admitted at community Health Centre, Malwan and district hospital Fatehpur. Rail traffic is disrupted on busiest Delhi-Howrah route. Several major trains have been halt at different railway stations under North-central railway. The cause of the incident is not yet known.
