The three WWF volunteers, who were kidnapped by gunmen from Laopani area near Ultapani in Kokrajhar district on February 6 last, were released on Thursday. Sources said the trio- Gautam Kishore Sarma , Pranjal Kumar Saikia and Syed Nushad Zamman were dropped near Kokrajhar town.Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police P K Dutta said the volunteers were kidnapped by anti-talk faction of NDFB from working site at Ultapani forest areas in Lower Assam.Mention be made that of the six WWF volunteers who were taken away by armed militants -three girls were released on 8th February.
