Three JeM members get life term for plotting terror attack

In Uttar Pradesh, a special court ?in Lucknow yesterday sentenced three members of the banned Pakistani terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed to life imprisonment for plotting to kill innocents in the country. <br/><br/>The court also imposed over one lakh rupees fine on each convict.? Mohammed Abid alias Fatte, Mirza Rashid Beg and Saifurrahman were arrested in Lucknow district in 2007. <br/><br/>The court held them guilty on 30th of June and yesterday pronounced the sentence.? <br/><br/>In his 64-page judgment, Ju?dge? P K Mishra said there was ample evidence to hold them guilty and that interest of justice would suffice if the convicts were awarded lifer.<br/> <br/>The STF arrested the three from a car on Sitapur Road after an encounter and recovered three pistols, two AK 47s, 60 live cartridges, 16 hand grenades, 4kg RDX and fake I-cards.
