Three Jamaat-e-Islami leaders were remanded to custody in Bangladesh in five cases. The arrested leaders of Bangladesh's biggest Islamic party includes its chief Motiur Rahman Nizami. Angry party leaders threatened to launch countrywide agitation in protest. They will now be quizzed for 16 days in custody, a court official said.
