Three International Security Assistance Force service members were killed in an improvised explosive device attack in eastern Afghanistan on Monday. The ISAF as its policy does not disclose exact location of the incident and the identity of the soldiers killed or injured in the attacks. Meanwhile, the Joint Command has confirmed the death of Khan Wali, a Taliban leader who operated in Nangarhar province. On Sunday morning Coalition Force in an operation targeted Wali and killed him along with more than 10 insurgents. He was responsible for leading fighters in attacks against Afghan government officials and security forces. Combined security force have detained numerous suspected insurgents and confiscated several weapons from them in Khost, Takhar, Balkh, Kandhar, Jabul, Helmand, Khost and Paktiya provinces on Sunday and recovered many arms and ammunition from them.
