Three fishermen were killed in police firing in Vaddi Tandra Village of Santa Bommali Mandal in Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh this afternoon.The incident occured when the fishermen from nearby villages were agitating against construction of a 10,000 MW power project in Kakaraplli village. Police say, they only fired rubber bullets on the agitators to dispell them and maintain law and order.
