In Uttar Pradesh, three dreaded Dacoits active in the state and neighboring Madhya Pradesh were shot dead in a police encounter in Chitrakoot district early this morning.The Superintendent of Police of Chitrakoot Tahsildar Singh told AIR after a tip of the police and Special Operation Group surrounded the dacoits in Manpur Village near Purwa forest area and killed the three bandits. Two of the dacoits have been identified.
