<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The  three day training programme on General Election- 2024 for Returning Officers/Assistant Returning Officers/ Nodal Officers (Districts) commenced at the Conference Hall of the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Sikkim from Wednesday. Elections related topics were covered by the resource persons during the course of the training.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">D. Anandan, CEO, Sikkim was present during the training. Pari Bishnoi, ADC, Gyalshing and Tshering N. Theengh, SDM, Yangang were resource persons for the training. A total of 46 officials participated in today's training.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">During the course of training, the resource persons spoke on the various important rules and regulations to be followed during the conduct of General Elections. They also emphasised the step-by-step guidelines to be followed during nominations, scrutiny, withdrawal of candidature, allotment of symbols, polling party and poll day arrangement including in polling stations and on various other pertinent election related topics. </span></p>
