State-run power major National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) today said it is planning to construct three coal based power projects in Madhya Pradesh in the next 5-6 years. NTPC Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma said these projects of over 7,500 Mega Watts capacity would be constructed at Bamitha, Gadarwara and Khargaone in the state. He said studies are on and the detailed project report and feasibility report would be completed in next six months. He added within one year we can start working on these projects.
