<span style="color: #222222;">The government is setting up three bulk drug parks across the country for the supply of raw materials for pharmaceutical industries. In replying to questions in the Lok Sabha, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya informed the House that these three parks are being developed in Andhra Pradesh, Himachal, and Gujarat. <br />''<br />''Minister informed the house that during covid period the necessity of Bulk Drug parks was needed as raw material for the production of medicines was primarily imported. Mr Mandaviya said that 13 States applied for setting up the bulk drug parks and a committee after reviewing all the ecosystems and parameters available has chosen 3 places. He said that such Bulk Drug parks will reduce country's dependence on foreign countries for chemicals used by the pharmaceutical industry.</span><br />
