Thousands of people from various walks of society today paid homage to former Union Minister E Ahamed, when his body arrived Kozhikode this evening from New Delhi. <br/><br/>People thronged the Karipur airport as the mortal remains were brought by family and party leaders. The burial will be held tomorrow at Kannur, Ahamed's<br/>native place.<br/><br/>Ahmed had collapsed and suffered cardiac arrest during the<br/>President's address at the joint sitting of Parliament yesterday and was rushed to the hospital. He passed away this morning in the hospital in New Delhi.
