Third round of talks between Gujjars & Rajasthan Govt. fail

The third round of talks between Gujjars and the Rajasthan government over the issue of reservation in government jobs has failed. The one one-to-one meeting between Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok in Jaipur lasted for over one and a half hours.<br/><br/>After the negotiations Bainsla said, he was not satisfied with the talks and announced that the agitation will go on. However, the state government is hoping for yet another round of meeting with Bainsla to resolve the issue. A government spokesperson said, Gujjars' demand of reservation is being examined by legal experts and a decision will be taken accordingly.
