Third cricket test between India and England begins in Southampton today

The third cricket test of the 5-match series between India and England will begin in Southampton today. The match will be played at 3:30 PM Indian Time. Team India is currently leading the series, 1-0. After the Nottingham Test ended in a draw, the Indian team produced a superlative performance in the second test at Lord's, and won a match at the 'Mecca of Cricket' after 28 years.Even though the 6-batsmen strategy has worked wonders for India, there are signs that India could use an extra batsmen in this Test. If it happens, Rohit Sharma is expected to make it to the playing eleven and replace Stuart Binny.England have included Jos Buttler in their 13-man squad for the test. He is set to replace wicket keeper Matt Prior who chose to stand down from international cricket and work on returning to fitness. Simon Kerrigan has also been left out.
