In Puducherry, Mr T.Thiagarajan was on Wednesday sworn in as Pro-Term Speaker of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly.Lt. Governor Iqbal Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Thiagarajan, in the presence of Chief Minister Mr N.Rangaswamy at a function in Raj Nivas Wednesday evening. Thiagarajan who was elected from the Bahour assembly constituency will administer the oath to the newly elected legislators on Friday.
