The Government has estimated that there will be a global demand for nearly 3.7 million skilled and trained workforce in the coming five years in 16 countries. <br />''<br />''This information was given by Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a written reply in Lok Sabha today. <br />''<br />''He said National Skill Development Corporation (International) has conducted a study to ascertain skilled workforce requirements including Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Mr. Pradhan said his ministry is providing up-skilling and reskilling opportunities to the youth, including returned expatriates, through various skilling initiatives such as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Jan Sikshan Sansthan, National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme and Industrial Training Institutes.</span><br />
