There is a New Era of Resurgence in North East Region: Vice President

Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu said that there is a New Era of Resurgence in the North East Region. He said this while addressing a special Assembly session of Arunachal Pradesh State Legislative Assembly today.<br />'' <br />''Appreciating the pace of development in Arunachal Pradesh and entire North-East in the recent time, Mr. Naidu said that a new interest and a new energy for the change and development of the region can be seen clearly.<br />'' <br />''The Vice President said that the whole country is looking towards Arunachal Pradesh with a renewed interest due to its potential and achievements of the people. He said Arunachal can contribute to the nation like no other state can. Mr. Naidu said that the state has the capacity to become the fruit bowl of India, a global tourism destination because of its enchanting landscape and the sustainable power house of the country with its 58000mw hydropower potential.<br />''<br />''The Vice President also said that there has been substantial improvement in the security scenario in the North-East region today, with 70 percent decline in insurgency related incidents in 2019.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Later on, the Vice President inaugurated a Library, an auditorium and a paper recycling unit at the Assembly premise.</span><br />
