Prime Minister Narendra Modi today stressed on the need for harnessing the potential of the country to achieve the goal of evergreen revolution. Releasing two books on green revolution at a function at his residence in New Delhi, Mr Modi said, there is a need for scientific and technological intervention in the agriculture sector. <br/><br/>In view of the growing population and limited cultivated land, Mr Modi said soil management is the need of hour to increase the agricultural productivity. The Prime Minister said, Government is focusing on water conservation but the challenges still remain. He said, more needs to be done to increase awareness on the issue.
