<span style="color: #222222;">Ladakh Union Territory has focused on Centrally sponsored individual beneficiary schemes for implementation in the region. The UT Administration found that half of such schemes are not being implemented on the ground in Ladakh. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Under the directions from the Prime Minister's Office, the UT Administration has focused on expansion of the benefits of various Central schemes to individuals in the region.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' AIR Correspondent reports that the Commissioner and Secretary of Planning and Development Monitoring Department of Ladakh Saugat Biswas reviewed the implementation of individual beneficiary schemes of all the departments. He advised the Heads of Departments to explore the possibility and potential for implementation of Central schemes for individuals. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Saugat Biswas also asked them to put up a strategy to implement such schemes. The UT Administration also has set up a Monitoring Department to oversee the progress of implementation and dispersal of benefits to individuals under various Central schemes.</span><br />''
