The Man Who Knew Infinity: 46th IFFI opens tomorrow with Ramanujan's biopic

The 46th edition of the International Film Festival of India, Goa will kick off tomorrow with Matt Brown's biopic of mathematical wizard Srinivasa Ramanujan "The Man Who Knew Infinity," starring Dev Patel.<br/><br/>Talking to media this evening in Panaji Goa, film director Matt Brown said that making of this film was more than science ?and mathematics as it was the human emotions that led to its making. He further said that his effort of bringing Ramanujan to India is just as Attenborough revealed Gandhiji through his film 'Gandhi'?.<br/><br/>Hollywood actor Dev Patel of Slumdog Millionaire fame acted in this film as protagonist Ramanujan. Praising Dev, film director Matt Brown said that Dev has touched his soul while he directed the film.?When asked about his own mathematics skills, Dev Patel jokingly said that his maths is terrible even though he is a son of an accountant.<br/><br/>Actress Devika Bhise who played Ramanujan's wife said that she is really excited that ?the Indian audiences will be able to see a story about our hero?. ?The whole cast and crew of the film was present on this occasion.?
