The India show underway in Dubai

The India show underway in Dubai continues to catch the attention continues to catch the attention of business persons and people of United Arab Emirates and West Asia.<br/><br/>A number of programmes have been organised with an aim to present the progress of India and showcase the emergence of country in 21st century all across its spectrum. <br/><br/>As part of the event, an India business summit will be organised today to strengthen UAE-India economic relations which will be inaugurated by Minister of Commerce and Industry, Anand Sharma.<br/><br/>A Made in India Exhibition is highlight of the three-day event where over 200 small, medium and large Indian companies are participating. <br/><br/>These companies belong to automobiles, engineering items, hydro-carbons, IT, home products, gift products, processed food items, garments and textiles. A magnificent India cultural evening, film shows and Indian food are also part of this event, which are presenting India's soft power. <br/><br/>Directorate of Film Festival of India is screening nine selected Indian movies, which are attracting large number of people. Famous Kathak dancer Kumudini Lakhia, Bollywood celebrities Madhur Bhandarkar, Kangana Ranaut, Tisca Chopra and Biswajit Chakraborty are also participating in the event.<br/><br/>The event was inaugurated yesterday by Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE, Sheikha Lubna in the presence of Indian Ambassador to UAE, MK Lokesh, and Consul General of India at Dubai, Sanjay Verma, President of Federation of Indian Export Organisation, A. Sakthivel and several other dignitaries.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>
