The first Test of the 2-match series between Bangladesh and South Africa ended in a draw today after rain-washed out the final two days at Chittagong. The visitors were 61 for no loss in the second innings when rain interrupted play on Thursday. Rain continued and no ball could be bowled Friday and today.South Africa had made 248 after opting to bat first. In reply, Bangladesh scored 326 in the first innings.This was the first draw between the two countries, after South Africa had won all the previous eight tests, seven by an innings margin.The second and final Test will be held in Dhaka from Thursday.
