Thailand says, it wants to work with India on Free Trade Agreement, FTA. Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said in Bangkok that his country is keen to work with Indian Government for conclusion of negotiations for FTA, which aims to promote economic cooperation between the two nations.<br/><br/>He said, there is a need to speed up the process of the FTA talks. Under an 'Early Harvest Scheme' launched in 2004, both the countries have already abolished duties on 82 items, which include products like fruits, processed food, gems and jewellery, iron and steel, auto parts and electronic goods.
