Thailand to ask Interpol to 'seek Thaksin arrest'

The Thai government on Thursday said, it would request Interpol's co-operation to arrest fugitive ex-prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on terrorism charges in connection with recent deadly protests. <br/> <br/>Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said, any country that knows of his whereabouts can notify Thailand, so Thailand can begin the extradition procedure. Thaksin, was ousted in a 2006 coup and lives in self-imposed exile to avoid a jail term for corruption. <br/> <br/>On the other hand , Thaksin is reported to have said that Interpol would recognise the accusations were politically motivated. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile, the Thai News Agency reported that Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Thursday said a cabinet reshuffle will take place after a no-confidence debate.<br/>
