Saina Nehwal and P.V.Sindhu have reached the pre-quarter finals of the Thailand Open Badminton Tournament. In the match played in Bangkok today, Saina breezed past Nichaon Zindapone of Thailand 21-13, 16-21, 21-15. Sindhu stunned Korea's Kyi Myi Jin Jung 21-9, 15-21, 21-14. Saurabh Verma, Sameer Verma, K.Srikant and Sai Praneet have entered the second round of the tournament while Anand Pawar and Gurusai Dutt faced defeat. In Mixed Doubles, the pair of Aparna Balan and Arun Vishnu crashed out in the first round itself.
