In Thailand, at least six people were killed in torrential rain and flooding. The Interior Ministry said in a statement that nine provinces in the southern part of the country have been beset by monsoon rains for nearly a week.<br/><br/>It said that at least 120,000 households have been affected and Rail and Air services were disrupted due to flooding. Deputy Governor of the State Railway of Thailand, Thanongsak Kongprasert has said the flood waters have hit the tracks and in some places the track was washed away. Junta chief Prayut Chan-O-Cha is scheduled to visit the southernmost province of Narathiwat today to meet with flood victims and officials.
