In Thailand, a man has been arrested in the town of Chiang Mai after police discovered 6,000 small homemade bombs and other weapons at his home. He is believed to be a member of the red-shirt protest group which is allied with the country's convicted former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. The group has been accused of threatening the life of the current Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, who is due to address a meeting of business leaders in the northern city on Sunday.<br/>
