Textiles Minister K Sambasiva Rao today submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister.
In his resignation letter, Rao said that he cannot remain a member of the Council of Ministers against his conscience knowing that the UPA Government caused irreparable damage to the state.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Rao said that he has resigned over the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to carve out a separate state of Telangana. Rao represents Eluru constituency of Andhra Pradesh in the Lok Sabha.
